I invite you to take a few deep breaths as you choose your preferred music below, enjoy the stunning natural scenery, and reflect on the following words of wisdom from Marcus Aurelius:
Gentle guitar
Intense meditation
Can what has happened to you prevent you in any way from being just, high-minded, self-controlled, prudent, deliberate in your judgment, empty of deceit, self-respecting, free, or prevent you from possessing any of the qualities that, by their presence, make it possible for man's nature to come into its own? So henceforth, in the face of every difficulty that leads you to feel distress, remember to apply this principle: this is no misfortune, but to bear it with a noble spirit is good fortune.
Marcus Aurelius, Meditations, 4.49

I recently was diagnosed with Amyloidosis. Marcus is right. I may be dying( or not, treatment pending) but it doesn't prevent me from being virtuous. Thanks for your work Brittany.
Make the most of what is here, and the least of what is gone. I appreciate your work here Brittany!
