I recently was diagnosed with Amyloidosis. Marcus is right. I may be dying( or not, treatment pending) but it doesn't prevent me from being virtuous. Thanks for your work Brittany.
I'm very sorry to hear about your illness, Sean. Wishing you peaceful strength and wisdom as you cope with it. If you'd like to write anything about your experience and share it with us, please send it over to me. Best of luck on your journey.
I have found Stoicism helpful. As to writing something, I have six months of treatment where I am twiddling my thumbs. If I can get through the chemo fog and fatigue I think ai might have something valuable to say. I searched for something about Stoicism and terminal illness weeks ago but didn't come up with anything. So I may have to write it myself. 😀
If you haven't already, you might also want to connect with Karen Duffy (Backbone, Model Patient, Wise Up), who has dealt with chronic pain and an inoperable brain tumor for most of her life. She might have some useful recommendations for you.

Thanks the name is familiar. I will seek her out.
Make the most of what is here, and the least of what is gone. I appreciate your work here Brittany!
One of my favorites of yours yet!
I love this one too!
